International Harvester emanated from Pärson Sound and would later become Träd, Gräs och Stenar (Trees, Grass and Stones).

We talked about making the music stop and stand perfectly still. And that did happen sometimes. We never let go of the drone. We hardly made any key changes and never changed chords.” Says member Thomas Tidholm.

Thomas Tidholm and Anders Lind, engineer of the early albums, have listened to two cases full of live recordings from 1967 to 1969. After editing them, Anders restored and mastered the material from the old cassette tapes and remastered the original albums.

The Remains box contains five LPs. The first is International Harvester's 1968 Sov Gott Rose Marie, the second is Harvester's 1969 Hemåt, the other three contain various chunks of material, recorded between April 1968 (rehearsal material from the band's Asogatan rehearsal space that really must have been done as Pärson Sound) and June 1969 (as part of the Vita Bergen park session for Hemåt). Two of the tracks have been released previously, as bonus CD stretchers, but the bulk of the material is new to everyone except the band. And it is fucking great.

Also included are a poster, lots of pictures and a long interview with member Thomas Tidholm made by Mats Eriksson Dunér.
