Omertà re-emerges with a long awaited third album, Âmes Bleues (Blue Souls).
Gracefully deepening its own unique furrow by expanding its sonic palette with soothing and hallucinatory harmonic sequences, the band summons the infinitely sensible through fluid, repetitive motifs that are transmogrified into songs.
Âmes Bleues defies conventional interpretation, opting instead for the profound impulse of a journey into romanticism. Florence Giroud's writing is at it's absolute best, a devastating biographical and poetic immersion into her nether world. The music is reminiscent of the band's first album, with homogeneous atmospheres and a ravishing spirit throughout.
Undoubtly the band's finest accomplishment!
